What can you expect?
The ACT Program is designed to increase your skill and confidence in having impactful coaching conversations – both with your teams and in other contexts. Through practical application in your Coaching Circles and “on-the-job” engagements, you will learn how to coach in a way that honours and supports your people’s learning and development.
ACT will help you shift from a default approach of “telling” or “guiding by giving answers”, to an enquiring and development-focused approach through asking powerful questions, actively listening to foster insights, and identifying clear goals and actions.
At a collective level, ACT aims to shift the organisation’s culture towards a coaching mindset.
The ACT program revolves around six coaching competencies essential to powerful and impactful coaching conversations. These are:
- Prepares for Coaching
- Creates an Environment of Trust
- Listens Actively at Multiple Levels
- Uses Powerful Questions
- Fosters Awareness and Insights
- Supports Goals, Actions, and Accountability
The program uses the iGROW model, which is a simple, yet powerful, sequential approach to coaching.
