Yonnie Woo is Partner Consultant at Scotwork Korea and leadership & communication coach with 30 years of experience aligning messages and decisions, so organizations move in one direction. Her background spans corporate/organizational communications, location branding, issue & crisis management, and strategic counseling on how to better communicate to resolve conflicts. She previously served as General Manager at The Hoffman Agency Korea and Managing Director & Global Partner at Ketchum Korea and was a PR Committee Member for the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics.
Yonnie’s coaching translates directly to the field: she designs message alignment, stakeholder maps, and simple operating routines(meeting/negotiation standards and role design) that leaders and teams can use immediately. Her industry reach includes airline/aerospace, automotive, social platforms, and semiconductors, with a client portfolio featuring consumer electronics (LG, Samsung), automotive (Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Tesla), aerospace (Airbus), platforms (LINE, Twitter), payments (Visa, PayPal), and government projects (Seoul Metropolitan Government, 2002 Busan Asian Games, Ministry of Finance & Economy, PyeongChang & Yeosu bidding committees).
She is currently a PhD candidate in Organizational Communication at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, studying how communication shapes relationships, decisions, and business outcomes within the organization. Yonnie has written regular columns on persuasion, argument, and negotiation for the KOSHA monthly magazine. Bilingual in Korean and English, she is known for warm yet firm feedback and crisp language that restores trust and accelerates collaboration.
