Susanne Mueller is originally from Switzerland and now based in New York, where she has been living and working for the past 20+ years. Susanne’s professional career started in the sales and marketing department of an airline company. It was there that she had her eyes opened to the world, and she has been working across numerous sectors and geographies ever since.
Susanne holds a master’s degree in organisational development and leadership and a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She also has an executive coaching certificate from Columbia University in New York and has industry experience in government working for the Swiss Mission to the United Nations. She has led the global SAP implementation in the international human resources department for the largest food company in the world and has been involved in a plethora of consulting projects.
She has coached global leaders in industries such as: manufacturing, consumer goods, sports apparel, finance, marketing, digital media, and social media. Her coaching style can be described as holistic yet pragmatic, and she believes that healthy mindful thoughts are key ingredients for a happy and successful life.
Susanne has been a mentor for the Cherie Blair Foundation for women, EDsnaps for STE(A)M students, and Stand Beside Them for US veterans, and has recently volunteered her time providing leadership training in India and Indonesia. She is a board member of the Organisation for Women in International Trade (OWIT)
In her spare time, she is a running coach and active athlete in triathlons, marathons, yoga, and hiking. She has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro and completed the full Ironman distance in Lake Placid. She has published two books, Take it from the IronWoman and Lipstick Leadership, and is a TEDX speaker. Susanne has traveled to over 50 countries, speaks more than five languages, and is a weekly blogger and podcaster.
