Location: Hua Hin, Thailand
Susan Ward is originally from Canada and is now based in Thailand. She has 40 years of professional experience in adult education, startups, and mindfulness coaching across the globe with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region.
Susan earned an MBA from the University of Ottawa in Canada and is a certified professional facilitator (CFP). She has held associate director and advisory positions in a host of organisations, has been part of three start-ups, and was recently the senior director of learning at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, where she was instrumental in pioneering and developing ALI-C’s 3C Triad program with clinic staff.
Susan currently holds the position of adjunct senior lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
Throughout Susan’s career she has delivered extraordinary results. She skillfully draws upon her knack for strategy and leadership to foster effective operations for her clients. When working with both large and small groups, she utilises her strong communication skills to create strategic alignment, encourage performance-orientation, and, ultimately, foster transformation.
Susan brings her whole self to her coaching and facilitation work. She draws largely from her training in Brain-Based Coaching and Mindfulness, and is passionate about empowering people to practice mindfulness as a way of enriching themselves, their organisations, their families, and society-at-large.
Susan spends a significant portion of her time giving back. Her extensive volunteering efforts include working with the organisation WEDU to mentor rising female stars throughout Asia. She was also, proudly, a volunteer at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
