With over 25 years of senior leadership experience in the social impact sector, Madhu Malhotra is a Transformative Coach, Facilitator, and Strategic Consultant dedicated to unlocking the potential of individuals, teams and organisations. Her work is centered on authentic leadership and creating equitable, inclusive spaces where people and ideas can thrive.
Madhu’s career has taken her across the globe, living and working in India, Hong Kong, Afghanistan, London, Hawaii, and Scotland, while managing programs across the Asia-Pacific, Africa, Middle East, Americas, and Europe. These diverse experiences provide her with a unique ability to navigate complex systems, build cross-cultural understanding, and empower leaders to drive transformative change.
Her coaching and facilitation approach combines empathy, authenticity, and deep listening, enabling her to guide clients toward clarity, purpose, and impactful leadership. Drawing on her lived experiences as a woman of colour navigating systems of power and exclusion, she helps her clients to align values with meaningful actions, transform conflict into pathways for growth and understanding, and foster inclusive, collaborative cultures that embrace diversity and creativity.
Fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, and Urdu, Madhu is a natural connector who builds safe, inclusive spaces for growth and dialogue. Her leadership roles have spanned global organisations, grassroots movements, and government bodies, where she has successfully led multi-million-dollar programs and cultivated strategic partnerships. Born into a refugee family in India, Madhu’s life has been shaped by resilience, purpose, and a steadfast commitment to justice. Recently she embarked on sabbatical at a permaculture farm, immersing herself in Indigenous People’s wisdom and deepening her connection to life’s natural rhythms. This transformative experience reinforced her dedication to sustainability, self-care, and helping others navigate life’s transitions with courage and mindfulness.
As a single parent to two adventurous daughters, Madhu draws inspiration from their curiosity towards the eco system sound them. She finds joy in dancing, meditating, gardening, and staying grounded in nature, which fuels her passion for guiding others to lead with authenticity and impact.
Inspired by Toni Morrison’s words, “If you surrender to the air, you can ride it,” Madhu brings a deeply intuitive and transformative energy to her approach enabling leaders and teams to reconnect with their inner compass.
