Kenneth Hahn is from the US and currently lives in Northampton, MA. He has over 40 years of experience across almost every continent on the globe, in roles as diverse as the countries he has worked in.
Kenneth holds an MBA from Yale University and a BA in Sociology and Economics from Harvard University. In his early career, Kenneth studied and consulted with worker-owned companies, focusing on the use of ESOPs to foster greater employee participation in managerial decision-making.
In 1990, Kenneth started his own adventure travel company, which over the next 22 years sent thousands of travelers to Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean Basin. In 2012, Kenneth sold the business to begin a consultancy practice, working with industry leaders in areas of strategic planning, hiring practices, marketing and branding, and talent acquisition. In his coaching practice he has worked with executives in the retail, industrial, pharmaceutical, and technology sectors. He currently focuses primarily on supporting founders of technology companies in South and Southeast Asia and MENA.
Not wanting to do the same thing for 25 years (and just shy of this mark), Kenneth decided to chart a new course. In 2016, he was ordained as a rabbi and now works as a chaplain in a major trauma center in Massachusetts, supporting patients and their families as they face life-threatening medical challenges.
Kenneth has found that being with a dying patient or a business client is not all that different; in both instances, what is called for is presence, compassion, an inquisitive mind, and a recognition that the patient or client already knows exactly what they need to know. Kenneth creates an environment where the inner wisdom of the client is both given permission and encouraged to emerge.
Kenneth is a husband of over 30 years and the father of two adult children. He is an avid cyclist who can often be found miles from home on a two-lane country road.
