Joshua Morris is from the US and has been based in Thailand since 1999. Josh is an entrepreneur, leader, and coach, specialising in intercultural consulting across Asia.

Josh is the founder and CEO of The Progression Group, a multicultural organisation with more than 35 staff from Asia, Europe, and the US. He has worked with business, government, and NGOs to inspire more conscious approaches to the environment and our future. He directs the vision and strategy for his own company, whilst providing advanced training and development programming to businesses and educational institutions like Harvard Business School, across the US and Asia. Josh specialises in the development of high performing teams, using non-classroom style techniques to optimise team potential.

Given his US-Asia experience, Josh is particularly skilled at facilitating intercultural dynamics within and between teams. He brings a nonjudgmental, client-focused approach to both his work and leadership, and he has a unique ability to help others move deeper into their growth zone. Josh draws upon his love of adventure and passion for business to drive personal and professional development, for both his clients and himself. He is committed to helping lead and coach others as they progress toward a more conscious future.

Josh is an experienced rock climber, caver, and expedition leader who has led expeditions to explore virgin cave passage in Thailand. His experience in business, adventure expeditions, and working across cultures led him to play a major role in the Tham Luang Cave Rescue in Mae Sai in July of 2018. Josh acted as the chief international coordinator liaising between the Thai Armed Forces, civilian government, and international rescue teams.
