Brandon Smith is from the US and currently resides in Mexico. He has over 20 years of experience in business operations, consulting and executive coaching for organisations across the globe, from fast growing start-ups to Fortune 100 companies. Brandon holds a Master’s degree in International Business, and specialises in working with clients who are at the cutting edge of their fields in periods of high growth and change.
In the early 2000s, Brandon worked as Chief Operating Officer and Interim Executive Director of the International Living Future Institute, an NGO that developed the world’s most advanced sustainable development standards for buildings and communities which are still being used globally today. In 2010 he began consulting in the areas of strategy, operations, marketing, and leadership development. With nearly 15 years of living around the world and learning three foreign languages, Brandon has a deep understanding of the way cultural differences impact communication and conflict resolution in global organisations.
Brandon also manages a team at leadership development experiences company, Grand Dynamics International, that provides cutting edge experiences for leaders and teams at the world’s most successful companies including Google, Cleveland Clinic, Bain Capital, YPO, and others.Brandon has extensive training in Mindfulness-based approaches to leadership development and behavior change, and has spent over 120 days in silent meditation retreats. He translates these techniques in ways that are relevant to modern executives to help them better understand themselves and more effectively manage diverse teams.
Brandon’s coaching style is one that creates a safe space for clients to explore themselves and unique perspectives on life, communication and relationships. He enjoys finding new ways to help clients arrive at breakthrough moments where clients recognise their own inner wisdom and blaze new paths forward.
Brandon’s passions include rock climbing, community building, studying indigenous wisdom, exploring the world with his three children, and making this world a better place for future generations.
