Alex is Australian and has been based in Singapore for the past 30 years. She has over two decades experience in coaching and senior leadership roles in telecommunications, with a focus on the Asia-Pacific. She is passionate about enabling executives to get the best leadership from themselves, their teams, and their organisations.
Alex has been the Managing Director of Telstra Corporation (Singapore) and the General Manager of Worldcom (Singapore). In these roles she developed and led high-performing teams and managed complex, cross-border businesses. Her leadership was recognised time and again; she was a Presidents Club winner at WorldCom and received the CEO Leaders Award at Telstra. Whilst she was leading Worldcom Singapore, the Government of Singapore named WorldCom as one of the country’s Top 10 Workplaces.
Alex’s years of experience in management of diverse teams has developed her capacity to build strong trusting relationships which enables authentic and honest discussions, which are key skills to being an effective executive coach. Her coaching focuses on authentic leadership, leadership transitions, and team dynamics.
Her coaching style has a strong emphasis on supporting the client in achieving their coaching objectives. Alex uses structured approaches, psychometric tools, and measurement criteria to meet coaching goals efficiently and effectively. She is committed to her true passion: enabling each individual to be the best version of themselves by helping them to break free of their self-limiting beliefs, doing so in a way that always acknowledges the individual and their unique context.
Alex utilises every opportunity to put on her running shoes or get on her bike. She loves exploring the parks and jungles of Singapore and swimming in the ocean. She is an avid reader (of everything) and loves her times sitting quietly with a book. As connection is a core value of Alex’s , she cherishes her time with her family, friends, and community.
