Alexandra Hope

Location: Singapore

Alex is Australian and has been based in Singapore for the past 26 years. She has over two decades experience in coaching and senior leadership roles in telecommunications, with a focus on the Asia-Pacific.

Alex has been the Managing Director of Telstra Corporation (Singapore), the Director of Customer Service and Operations at Cable & Wireless (SEA), and the General Manager of Worldcom (Singapore). In these roles she developed and led high performing teams and managed complex, cross border businesses. Her outstanding leadership skills were recognised time and again; she was a Presidents Club winner at WorldCom and received the CEO Leaders Award at Telstra. Whilst she was leading Worldcom Singapore, the Government of Singapore named WorldCom as one of the country’s Top 10 Workplaces.

Alex’s years of experience in management of diverse teams has developed her capacity to build strong trusting relationships which enables authentic and honest discussions, which are key skills to being an effective executive coach. Her coaching focuses on authentic leadership, leadership transitions, and team dynamics.

Her coaching style also has a strong emphasis on results. Alex uses structured approaches, psychometric tools and measurement criteria to meet coaching goals efficiently and effectively. She is committed to her true passion: developing people and helping them to break free of their self-limiting beliefs, doing so in a way that always acknowledges the individual and their unique context.

Alex utilises every opportunity to put on her running shoes or get on her bike. She loves exploring the parks and jungles of Singapore and swimming in the ocean. She is an avid reader (of everything) and loves her times sitting quietly with a book.
