Abhishek is an executive coach with expertise across technology, healthcare, business process services, and internet companies. He brings extensive functional expertise in human resources, leadership development, talent management, organisational development, succession planning, and executive coaching. Originally from India, he has worked across Southeast Asia and Australia for the past 10 years and is currently based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

He is a postgraduate in management with a specialisation in HR from Symbiosis University Pune (India), and he holds an executive Masters degree in change, consulting and coaching from INSEAD (France/Singapore). He is also an ACC-certified coach from ICF. He is trained and certified in the Hogan suite of psychometric instruments and other 360-degree tools.

With over 22 years of experience across diverse industries and geographies, He has worked in leadership roles at GE Capital/Genpact, Johnson & Johnson, and most recently at VNG, the leading internet technology company in Vietnam. In these roles, he built and led diverse teams to deliver HR services to business units and client groups. This responsibility included the scaling up of operations across geographies as well as providing coaching, thought leadership and demonstrated expertise by creating sustainable leadership and talent pipelines through succession planning and clear capability development plans for identified high-potential successors. 

He is passionate to develop current and future leaders within organisations, who would like to identify and realize their potential towards a journey of fulfillment, joy and peace. For him, coaching is a way to pay forward to the community by adding value to – individuals who are looking to transform themselves as better leaders; teams that want to work cohesively to achieve high performance, and organizations that are looking to create positive, sustainable and system-wide change.

Abhishek’s coaching style while has a strong focus on being solution focused, he does approach it from a systems psychodynamics lens by being curious, mindful and empathetic while facilitating his clients to explore the possibilities holistically supporting them to reach their goals, translate knowledge into action and performance with visible and sustainable change.

He is a regular practitioner of meditation (Vipassana). Apart from travel and spirituality, he likes to play golf (amateur), badminton & cricket, and likes spend time exploring the beautiful coffee shops in Vietnam.
