Poncho Cottier is originally from Mexico City. He has had a successful 20 year career in business administration and transformative leadership across the globe, having started his career in Marketing for Procter & Gamble.

Despite having a successful career in Mexico, Poncho chose to follow his heart and moved to Europe to explore new opportunities in the personal development and coaching space.

Poncho has worked as a coach, facilitator, and mentor with senior leaders, including country and regional heads within a variety of industries from retail and pharmaceuticals to manufacturing and banking, as well as facilitating team and leadership development workshops across different industries.

Poncho’s journey of personal development eventually led him to Asia where he studied yoga, meditation, qigong, mindfulness, and Eastern philosophy.

For the last decade, Poncho has lived in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where the Asian Leadership Institute is based. Poncho is a full-time partner at ALI-C where he specialises in multinational clients and SMEs, as well as being a mentor to new coaches and facilitators.

Poncho has a natural gift for human connection, empathic listening, and intuitive coaching across cultures and organisational levels. Poncho draws upon his corporate background, studies in diverse wisdom traditions, and his own multicultural life experience to support others in becoming more mindful, self-aware versions of themselves.

He is fluent in English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and currently improving his Thai. He meditates and exercises daily, and is a perpetual learner who is committed to developing new skills so that others can reach new levels of expansion, consciousness, and success.
